Each university in the UESTP programme will have an Industrial Liaison Department, which will be responsible for creating linkages with industry. Its main function will be to facilitate the transfer of research at the university to wealth creation, and so support the technological and economic development of Pakistan. It will act also as a gateway for external organizations to gain access to the research expertise and resources available within the UESTP programme.
